Cassandra Matlock Named May MVP

May Students of the Month

Willis ISD is proud to announce the May elementary and secondary Students of the Month. The elementary honoree is Brisa Rodriguez, a first grade student at Cannan Elementary; and the secondary honoree is Mason Hosea, a senior at Willis High School.

Willis ISD Announces Bad Weather Make-Up Day

Willis ISD schools closed for three days in April due to bad weather. The state has granted a waiver for two of these days. Students will be required to make-up the third instructional day.

All Willis ISD students will now be required to attend school on Friday, June 3. Wednesday, June 1 will be a full school day. Early release days will be on Thursday, June 2 and Friday, June 3, with Friday, June 3 being the last student day for 2015-16. Click on the Headline for more information.

WHS Class of 2018 Announcement

Beginning with the 2014-15 school year, WHS implemented class dues for the 2018 and following classes in order to eliminate fundraisers to pay for senior prom, senior picnic and senior breakfast. Each class will be asked to pay these dues, which will give the class operating capital with which to place deposits for their prom and picnic.
