Hi, my name is Tricia Neumann, and I am the counselor for the ‘Class of 2016’. This is my 16th year in education and my 14th year as a school counselor. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the University of North Texas and a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Human Development from Hardin-Simmons University. I also had the great opportunity to earn my Principal Certification through Lamar University just a few years ago.
I have worked in several districts in Texas and Kentucky, but I feel fortunate to have been able to call Willis ISD my home for the last five years and specifically WHS for the past two years. I have been a school counselor at every grade level, but high school is my favorite. I truly adore my students. Whether it is helping them through a rough day, figuring out their schedules, planning for their future, or just hanging out with them, they are a blessing to me and have helped me grow both personally and professionally!
When I am not in school, you will either find me hanging out with my husband of 17 years and our two beautiful daughters or leading in worship at our church as well as different children’s events.
Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions/concerns. My favorite method of communicating information to students and parents is through Remind 101, so, I encourage you to sign up today!
