In 2002 I graduated from Sam Houston State University with my Bachelors degree in Academic Studies. I began teaching in Huntsville ISD, during this time I went back to obtain my Masters of Education in Administration from Sam Houston State University. I taught in Huntsville ISD for five years, in 2007 I became one of the two Assistant Principals at Huntsville Intermediate School. The next eight years I served in this role. This is my second year in Willis, I am very excited about returning to Willis High School.

I am also the mother to three totally different girls and the wife to my husband of 10 years, Roger Thorp. My oldest Kadi attends Turner Elementary as a 3rd grader. Kyrbi, who is 4 years old and my youngest Kindsi, 2 years old, will be attending Faith Lutheran School located in Huntsville. Roger and I are blessed to have a family that owns a ranch where we live and raise our family. We spend most of our time outside with our three labs and our numerous cows that we raise. When we are not at school or home you will most likely find up at a softball park somewhere helping coach Kadi's select softball team.

If there is anything that I can do to help you or your child please do not hesitate to call me or email me.  All assessments that are administered through this office are supplied on my calendar.
