About Me

Welcome to my website.

My name is Kathy Peel-Williams. I am teaching Forensic Science. This is my 12th year to teach, but my first year in Willis ISD. I am excited to be teaching at Willis High School this year. I have a degree in Biology/Chemistry from Sam Houston State University, and am certified 8-12 in Life science and Composite Certified  7-12. Forensic Science will be an informative and interesting class and is a great option for a 3rd or 4th year science.

I am looking forward to meeting my students and anticipating a great year!

PARENTS AND STUDENTS PLEASE NOTE:

Telephones are not allowed in my classroom unless we are using them for educational purposes. If phones are taken up, a parent will have to pay a fine and retrieve them. Per the student handbook section below-

ELECTRONIC DEVICES
District policy prohibits a WISD student from using an electronic device without approval from their teacher for a classroom activity. Students who violate this policy will be subject to disciplinary action. Electronic devices will be collected by staff. On the first offense, the device may be picked up from the principal’s office after school for a fee of $5. On the second offense, the fee is $10. On the third and any subsequent offense, parents may be required pick up the confiscated telecommunications device from the principal’s office for a fee of $15. Any student refusing to surrender an electronic device to a staff member will be subject to immediate disciplinary action.

WISD will not investigate any loss or theft of electronic devices on the WHS campus. One earbud in one ear only will be permitted outside of classrooms. Texas Education Agency prohibits possession of electronic devices in an EOC testing setting.
