Willis High School is THE high school of Willis Independent School District, and we proudly serve students from Willis and the surrounding communities. Rooted in a tradition of excellence and community pride, Willis High School is committed to preparing students for success in college, careers, military service, and beyond. Through rigorous academics, innovative instruction, and meaningful opportunities in athletics, fine arts, career and technical education, and extracurricular activities, students are empowered to discover their passions and develop the knowledge, character, and leadership skills needed for the future. The mission of Willis High School is to cultivate a consistent, accountable, and supportive community where Wildkat pride drives academic excellence through high quality instruction, and prepares every student for life beyond graduation. This is our daily work.

Vision

Our vision at Willis High School is to be the distinguished high school in Montgomery County anchored in unity, driven by pride, and defined by excellence in every system, classroom, and student outcome.

Academic Information

Willis High School operates on an eight-period instructional day, with each class meeting for 46 minutes. Students are expected to graduate under the Texas Foundation High School Program with an Endorsement and Distinguished Level of Achievement, which includes rigorous coursework in English, mathematics, science, social studies, world languages, career and technical education, fine arts, and physical education. This graduation plan prepares students for success in postsecondary education, the workforce, military service, and beyond.
