Wildkat Baseball Team Competed in Bryan/College Station Tournament

We won the first game 7-6. Winning pitcher was Nathan Perdue.
Corbin Marett, Christian Kuhl, Kyle Backhus and Shane Harrison led the offensive with 2 hits each.
Kuhl and Backhus had 1 RBI each, while Harrison had 3 RBI.
Brooks Jackson pitched 6 strong innings and did not get a decision.
The 2nd game was a 5-4 loss to Magnolia West.
The Wildkats only managed 2 hits. One from Corbin Marett and the other from Shane Harrison
Austin Paske took the loss on the mound.
The 3rd game, the Wildkats lost to Concordia Lutheran by a score of 12-2.
We only had 4 singles in the game. One each by Gabe Delgado, Nathaniel Medina, Joshua Matthews, and Christian Cornelius. Kyle Novak was the losing Pitcher
The last game of the tournament ended in a 2-2 tie. The tournament rules only allow 1 extra inning.
Christian Kuhl had 2 hits in the game. kyle Novak had the game tying hit in the 6th.
The Wildkats got a strong pitching performance from both,
Nathan Perdue and Austin Paske.
The Baseball team will travel to the Dallas area for another tournament this week, staring on Thursday.
