In 2002 I graduated from Sam Houston State University with my Bachelors degree in Academic Studies. I began teaching in Huntsville ISD, during this time I went back to obtain my Masters of Education in Administration from Sam Houston State University. I taught in Huntsville ISD for five years, in 2007 I became one of the two Assistant Principals at Huntsville Intermediate School. The next eight years I served in this role. This is my third year in Willis, I am very excited about returning to Willis High School.

I am also the mother to three totally different girls and the wife to my husband of eleven years, Roger Thorp. I have three girls- the is oldest Kadi and is a 4th grader, Kyrbi is a Kindergarten who are both attending Turner Elementary.  My youngest Kindsi, 3 years old, will be attending Faith Lutheran School located in Huntsville. Roger and I are blessed to have a family that owns a ranch where we live and raise our family. We spend most of our time outside with our labs and our numerous cows that we raise. When we are not at school or home you will most likely find up at a softball park somewhere watching the Texas Peppers, Kadi's select softball team.

If there is anything that I can do to help you or your child please do not hesitate to call me or email me.  All assessments that are administered through this office are supplied on my calendar.
